TWO-YEAR FULL TIME POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (PGDBA)

Eligibility
Graduates from any recognised University
Students who have appeared for their graduation examination (admission will be subject to their clearing the examination with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the aggregate)

Course Structure
The PGDBA program is a two year, full-time course covering 36 courses spread over four semesters. Students will be evaluated in each semester on the basis of a written examination and an internal assessment.

Summer Training
Students must mandatorily undergo a two-month summer training, aimed at acquiring practical work experience, in an industrial or business organisation, at the end of the second semester. During this period, students would be expected to work on specific time-bound assignments and submit a report at the beginning of the third semester.

First Year
The first year academic work, spread over two semesters, is a compulsory package of 18 foundation (core) courses designed to provide basic knowledge of concepts, tools and techniques in various functional areas and relevant disciplines.

Second Year
The second year is also spread over two semesters. At the beginning of the third semester, students have to choose any two out of the four specialisation areas on offer ( viz. Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and IT & Systems).
Students have to complete five courses from each of the two chosen specialisation areas in the third semester and the remaining two courses in the fourth semester along with the four compulsory courses.
